Goodwood Revival is an immersive vintage experience set in period theme, the ultimate destination for vintage fans and the biggest celebration of secondhand in the UK. Each year as we recreate the glamour and excitement that suffused the glory days of motor racing at Goodwood from 1948 to 1966, we revisit a time when people would cherish cars, clothes and special belongings, for a lifetime of use. 2023 is a landmark year in the event’s history: this September we celebrate the 75th anniversary Goodwood Motor Circuit’s  opening and 25 years since the Revival began in 1998.

Taking place during ‘Second-hand September’, the event’s new Revive & Thrive areas will present a packed schedule of talks, workshops and demonstrations to empower visitors to rethink, repair and re-wear preloved clothes. Alongside the various vintage and secondhand pop-ups around the event, shoppers will be able to learn how to customise and re-purpose.

Whilst visitors can book a sewing class at the Revive & Thrive Sewing Atelier, a cast of fashion designers will be upcycling, dressmaking and mending, sharing these skills in mini workshops.

A programme of fashion talks on the Revive & Thrive stage lead by TV presenter. Amber Butchart will feature Justine Picardie on her biography of Coco Chanel; Great British Sewing Bee winner, Annie Phillips; Charlotte Sinclair on her biography of Christian Dior,  and vintage content creators like Liv Purvis, Sophia Rosemary, Hill House Vintage, Onyi Moss, Charity Shop Girl and Dandy  Wellington.

In the Revive & Thrive Craft area, TV presenters Dominic Chinea and Micaela Sharp will lead a showcase of heritage and endangered crafts, offering visitors the chance to ‘have a go’ toinspire, new hobbies and interests.
